The future will see home attics being used as productive "Solar Energy Vehicles."  Attics will be used to heat swimming pools, spas, hot tubs, hot water and space. Products will evolve to create a new roof and attic structure that will absorb more incident solar radiation instead of less [which is the current thinking]. New ventilation systems will provide a controlled attic ventilation and moisture environment that enables maximum heat extraction to occur. These new ventilation sysems will not cause pressurization problems like current power ventilators.

Roofs will be painted black instead of white with newly [to be] developed "solar absorption paint." New "solar shingles" will absorb greater amounts of solar radiation. New "solar roofing materials" will conduct heat easily into the attic (in one direction) while preventing heat from escaping from the attic. This will trap the solar heat after its collected in the attic's cavity. These new products, plus others, will increase the effective heat collection and storage capacity of attics and other roof cavities. Cities around the world will benefit from less pollution as the excess heat energy causing the "heat-island-effect" is placed into productive use heating hot water and space, etc. Automatic ventilators will vent attics and roof cavities only when absolutely necessary.  Houses and commerical structures will be built to optimize the attic and roof cavity as a free "Solar Energy Vehicle."  A free solar heating resource that has been ignored until now. Attics and commerical roof cavities will demonstrate their economics in terms of receiving, storing, and transferring free solar heat energy.  Attics and commericial roof cavities will evolve into a new classification of solar energy device. The new "hybrid attic solar energy system" will be part passive (the large roof structure as "solar collector") and part active (the low cost "inside-the-attic" forced air heat transfer system).

People all around the world will take advantage of this new source of free solar radiant heat energy through economical and practical products that won't require massive roof alterations or solar roof panels. In fact, no significant or visual roof alterations and no solar thermal roof panels will be required.  Photovoltaic cells will be used to supply power to SolarAttic devices which only use low amounts of electrical energy to achieve high amounts of solar heat energy transfer.

Markets will expand as "low operating cost" and even "free of utility cost" water heating, space and ventilation systems supplied by SolarAttic, Inc. are accepted into the marketplace and displace other inefficient "fossil fuel" heating systems.  Legislation will be enacted to help resolve the "Global Warming" problem. Such legislation could be expected to favor energy efficient technologies like SolarAttic's. Many home owners will stop using fossil fuel systems as alternative systems like the PCS1 swimming pool heater become more commonplace. Then it will become common knowledge that we do not have to burn fossil fuels for such heating applications. People will see dramatic reductions in their monthly energy costs as SolarAttic's new technologies are used instead of burning fossil fuels.
